Leadership Impact 2 Seminar – previously known as ( SPPEDS)
Come and join us for some great learning, a chance to have your say in discussion groups and takeaways that could make all the difference to you and your club experience !
Register NOW for Sunday 3rd March for this one day seminar.
There have been some changes made to the way we talk about training. Our aim to make sure that clubs and club officers have the support and resources that are relevant in our changing world. We consider these Leadership Seminars to be the cornerstone to making Rotary and Rotaract clubs / groups thrive across New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
To align our thinking with Rotary International and the Zone 8 Regional Council, our Facilitators from all 5 districts met and discussed how we deliver our 3 Leadership Seminars across the districts. We also needed to consider our use of language to reflect learning across the globe, not only in Rotary but in the corporate and business sectors.
All Districts will have the option of delivering Leadership Impact Seminars 1 & 2 either Face to Face, via zoom or as a Hybrid model. We are aware that costs across the Districts will determine how these are delivered. Leadership Impact 2 will be delivered via zoom due to the varying cost considerations of flights and accommodation. In an ideal world we would love everyone to have the opportunity to meet Face to Face for Leadership Impact 2 but as the District Governors of the day have instructed our team “ we do not have the District budgets available for this to occur”.
The terms we will now use are as follows;
Trainers will be called “Facilitators and /or Lead Facilitators”.
Training will be called “Learning”.
President -Elect Development Seminar 1 ( PEDS 1) will be called
“Leadership Impact 1”
South Pacific President-Elect Development Seminar ( SPPEDS) will be called
“Leadership Impact 2”
Club Officer Assembly or your equivalent in each district, will be called
“Leadership Impact 3”
All Districts will have the option of delivering Leadership Impact Seminars 1 & 2 either Face to Face, via zoom or as a Hybrid model. We are aware that costs across the Districts will determine how these are delivered.
WHY IMPACT? We are wanting to make an Impact within our clubs, in our communities and across the world. Whatever projects we deliver should be making an impact which in turn impacts our members and member engagement.
To learn is to listen, take action and make an impact in our world.
To learn is to have discussions with others and adapt what we have learnt.
To
learn is to create new ways of engaging people.
